We shoot using professional 4K Sony cameras, drones, high-end audio gear, and cinematic lighting to give everything that polished, story-driven feel. The final product? A wedding film and photo gallery that are heartfelt, elegant, and ready to stream, download, and share with everyone you love.

Why should I have a Brisbane videographer at my wedding?
A highlights film is a cinematic short film of your wedding day. It is a video generally under 10 minutes that showcases the day whilst capturing the atmosphere and emotion. Edited to music and voice overs, with cinematic style editing and colour grading - the highlights reel is a perfect timestone for you to relive the magic from your day for generations to come.
What is a highlights film?
It is important that we keep everyone feeling comfortable on the day. Our style of filming is realistic and natural. We ideally look for candid shots and it's hard to achieve that if the videographer is making everybody nervous. So, our approach is to be minimally intrusive and to capture everything naturally as it unfolds throughout the day.
I want my guests to feel comfortable, so is wedding videography intrusive?
After capturing your wedding day, we aim to have a 1-minute social media teaser within a week. Your wedding video gallery (highlights film, ceremony video and speeches video) will be available to download and share within 12 weeks.
What is the turnaround for my wedding video?
We may ask what kind of feel or atmosphere you want the music to have and you can certainly suggest tracks however we only use songs that we can obtain proper licensing for. For the stand-alone ceremony video, we can use the actual music presented on the day.
Can I choose my own music for my wedding video?
Drone wedding videography is offered in the half and full day options. Jay is a certified and licensed drone operator focused on obtaining the perfect drone shots for your wedding film.
Is wedding drone videography included in my wedding videography package?
Wedding Films by Jay is based in Brisbane, Australia. Jay is happy to offer wedding videography services in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Byron Bay & beyond. If you have a wedding outside of Queensland (or Australia), Jay may be able to assist with destination weddings. Contact Jay to see if your date is available.

Do you offer any payment plans for wedding videography?
The booking process is easy! Simply submit your interest via one of our contact forms on the website to see if we have your date available. You will then use the online booking system to review and accept any quotes we send you, sign the contract and select payment terms that best suit you. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
